Jessica Polis received her Honours Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction in English and Political Science from the University of Toronto in 2008 and her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2011. During her time at Osgoode, Jessica volunteered with the Family Law Project at the Jarvis Street Courthouse. Jessica also gained valuable negotiation experience during a semester she spent working at Parkdale Community Legal Services, assisting clients with landlord-tenant issues and representing them in negotiations with landlords and before the Landlord and Tenant Board. Jessica was a summer student at Kain & Ball in 2009 and 2010 and articled at Kain & Ball in 2011-2012. Jessica was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2012 and has been practicing at Kain & Ball since that time. Through her experience at Kain & Ball, Jessica has expanded her knowledge of family law and coupled it with firsthand experience in negotiation, mediation, and litigation. Jessica is fluent in Polish.
